1. What Foodatron is

Foodatron is an educational tool for exploring food and nutrition information compiled from public data sources and organized into a connected reference. It is provided for general information only.

2. Not medical or professional advice

Nothing on Foodatron — including food data, rankings, comparisons, calculator results, and articles — is medical, nutritional, dietary, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. Calculator outputs (such as BMI, BMR, and TDEE) are estimates based on published formulas and general population averages; they are not diagnoses. Always seek the advice of a physician or registered dietitian for decisions about your health or diet, and never disregard professional advice because of something you read here.

3. Accuracy & “as is”

We work to keep information accurate and traceable to its source, and we deliberately never present missing data as zero. Even so, food composition varies and datasets contain errors, so the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You rely on the information at your own discretion. If you spot an error, please tell us via support@mega-maser.com.

4. Acceptable use

• Don’t use the Service unlawfully or to harm others.
• Don’t attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Don’t scrape or bulk-download the Service in a way that burdens it or violates these Terms; automated access must respect our robots rules and reasonable rate limits.

5. Intellectual property

The Foodatron name, design, original written content, and the selection and arrangement of data are owned by Foodatron and protected by applicable law. Underlying nutrition data is from public sources such as USDA FoodData Central, which is in the U.S. public domain; photographs are used under the Pexels License. Brand names that appear in source records are the trademarks of their respective owners and are shown only to identify the underlying data, not to imply any affiliation or endorsement. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial reference; any other use of our original content requires permission.

6. Third-party links & content

The Service may link to third-party sites, including occasional, clearly-labeled affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure). We are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Information about alcoholic beverages is provided for factual nutrition reference only and is not an inducement to purchase or consume; follow the laws and age requirements that apply to you.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foodatron and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or reliance on — the Service. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

8. Governing law & disputes

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or your use of the Service, are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The competent courts of the Tel Aviv–Jaffa district, Israel, will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to their venue. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

9. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date; continuing to use the Service after they take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
